There is no such thing as perfection. You may believe and maybe you were told that practice makes perfect or getting all A’s is perfect. Or being the best wife, husband, or friend makes a perfect relationship. But running towards perfection only causes stress and headaches. Slams you into a depression or madness when a relationship ends, you have a 3.7 GPA, or your performance had one mistake. You obsess over the ridiculous and irrational thinking that your concept of perfection means something is wrong with you. Wasting lots of time and energy. Nothing is wrong with you.
Resist the need to be perfect. Resist society’s need for your perfection. You are beautiful my friend inside and out. You just have to believe that whatever you have to give this world comes from your imperfect mind, body, and spirit. And that is just fine.
